Dear Friends,
Spring is definitely here. I love the longer days
— seems like I have lots of energy as long as
the sun is shining. I have to be careful, though, that I
don't go right on working until it gets dark! Because
here in Florida, by the time it gets dark, it's almost my
bedtime. And there has to be more to life than work,
right?
Ah, but work is an attitude. And feeding the horses,
one of the last things we do most days, doesn't feel
like work. Still, there is a balance to find...and if we
don't find it consciously, we might not find it at all. I
mean we can't simply choose by default and expect
everything to come up "roses." On the other hand, we
can let life unfold without forcing the petals —
provided we're centered. That's the key!
If we can keep work, and play, and family, and
maintenance (body, house, car, yard) all in
perspective, we can stay centered and trust what
unfolds. So, how do we stay centered? We make
what's intangible and inside our first priority. We take
time to maintain, or nurture, our spirit even when we
don't have time to buy groceries or sweep the
porch...because when we do that, everything else will
be okay. Truly.
When we start to feel off center, or anxious, or
overwhelmed, it's because we've bypassed what's
most important to our wellbeing — even if just
for a moment. I know, I know, there are things you
have to do in order to survive. But let's live, and die, in
peace.
With love,

Gleneden, Jan and Sam's new home and intimate
retreat center, is (finally) almost complete. And we
don't think there's a better place for you to find peace.
You can walk the trails through the woods, swim in the
lap pool, or quiet your mind in the butterfly garden. And
you're apt to see wild deer and turkeys...or at least
beautiful horses grazing. You almost don't need Jan,
but she's there and wants very much to help you know
the best of who you are.
Come spend a day or a weekend — tailor
made for you — to reclaim peace and know the
fullness of love, the fullness of you.
